Luke offers over 7 years' construction sector experience and insights having operated at various stages of the project life-cycle – from pre-contract estimation and risk identification to project delivery and disputes for major construction contractors, both in Australia and internationally.
Luke’s roles have covered both the strategic and the operational: Luke was part of the risk team of a major contractor where he assisted in the analysis and review of major business cases and tenders, market analysis and development of prospect risk assessment guidelines; while his onsite experience includes subcontractor procurement and management, project costing and forecasting, planning, risk identification and detailed investigation and drafting of variation claims.
Most recently, Luke supported a top tier, international law firm in the development of their Construction, Infrastructure and Real Estate practices. In this role he helped Partners and lawyers develop a value-based, relationship management approach to their strategic Government, contractor and developer clients, as well as assisting in the tendering and scoping of legal services for major projects.
Luke has degrees in Civil Engineering and Commerce.
