A qualified engineer, Sutina's experience spans the project lifecycle ranging from upfront planning at inception, through to procurement strategies, transaction management, commercial management, project management and operation and maintenance management of large scale infrastructure and technology projects in Australia and Asia.
Sutina is a specialist in the rail and road transport sectors having procured and delivered major projects for rail, road and transport intelligence systems in NSW, including: Southern Sydney Freight Line, Northern Sydney Freight Corridor, South West Rail Link, Clearways Program, Transport Access Program, Automatic Train Protection Program, M5 East Motorway, M2 Motorway, Lane Cove Tunnel, Sydney Harbour Tunnel, Tolling Modernization Program, Project Data Collaboration System, fleet and passenger rolling stocks. More recently, Sutina has worked on aspects of the rail reform and the project delivery process changes program instigated by Transport for NSW on the NSW rail sector.
Sutina's experience blends procurement and commercial expertise with hands-on project delivery giving her a critical view on the identification of project development issues that can impact negatively on delivery.
Sutina is fluent in written and spoken Mandarin and brings a unique ability to procure from suppliers in China and advise on and deliver projects where Chinese language skills are an asset, as demonstrated on major fleet procurements for Pacific National.
