Angus is a civil engineer with more than 20 years’ experience on construction projects in Australia and worldwide. He has worked as a structural designer and field engineer supervising construction activities on site, as well as a construction planner and consultant on projects in Australia, the United Kingdom, Dubai, Africa, the Caribbean, Turkey, India and Singapore.
Angus’ specialisation is the analysis of delays to engineering and construction projects. He also provides advice on risk management and programming issues at all stages of construction, and is experienced in the use of analytical methods to support capital expenditure decisions and the improvement of existing operations.
His recent experience includes giving commercial advice to contractors on the £15 billion Crossrail project in London (under the NEC3 contract form); delay analysis for a petrochemical plant in Trinidad; and an independent review of the Tianqi Lithium Hydroxide plant in Western Australia.
Angus has acted as an expert witness and has given evidence in arbitration proceedings. His professional qualifications include a Master’s degree in Construction Law & Dispute Resolution as well as undergraduate degrees in Engineering, Computer Science and Physics.
