Derek is known for his innovative approach, supporting his clients with bespoke collaborative contracting methodologies that minimise risk and optimise value for money.

He has assisted multiple public organisations to develop and implement best practice reporting and governance frameworks and agile working environments. When he’s not delivering infrastructure advice, Derek enjoys cooking and competing in endurance events.

John is a commercial and project advisor and Principal at E3 Advisory with 40 years’ experience in the construction sector. He provides expert advice to support the successful delivery of large, complex infrastructure projects, ensuring value for money for both clients and end users. Over the last decade, John has been involved in the construction of a range of new road and rail infrastructure in Queensland, including the Brisbane Metro and Legacy Way Toll Road. His primary objective is always to deliver effective infrastructure and ensure value for money for both clients and end users. 

John offers substantial expertise in the management and delivery of major road and tunnel projects. Over the last decade, he has made a significant contribution to the delivery of new road and rail infrastructure in Queensland, including the Brisbane Metro and Legacy Way Toll Road.

He has recently been engaged to assist with the resolution of mega disputes on various major infrastructure projects throughout Australia. After 18 years’ in civil construction, Mark still enjoys the challenge of working with talented colleagues to solve problems for his clients. Career highlights include his work on the Inner West Busway Alliance, a $175 million project involving the construction of a new, incrementally launched bridge. When he gets some spare time, Mark likes to spend it with his family.

He has recently been engaged to assist with the resolution of mega disputes on various major infrastructure projects throughout Australia. 

Mark enjoys the challenge of working with talented colleagues to solve problems for his clients. He previously held project management positions with several Tier 1 contractors, leading the design and construction of numerous major transport infrastructure projects. Career highlights include his work on the Inner West Busway Alliance. As project engineer, Mark was responsible for the construction of a new 400m, incrementally launched bridge which represented Australia’s first bridge launch from in front of an abutment.

Ben has previously taken leadership roles in the delivery of some of Australia’s largest transport infrastructure projects, including the multi-billion-dollar NorthConnex tunnel. As an infrastructure advisor, he draws on this experience to help his clients understand and solve their infrastructure challenges. Ben finds the diverse, interesting, and consistently challenging nature of infrastructure advisory work to be immensely rewarding. He loves having the opportunity to work with multiple clients across a number of major projects to assess the cost, time, and risk implications of significant commercial decisions.

As the sole male in a household comprised of his wife and three daughters, Ben takes advantage of any opportunity to enjoy some quiet time out in the ocean.

With experience gained throughout Australia, Asia and the Middle East, Phil’s expertise is informed by his travels around the world and the variety of different projects and approaches to infrastructure delivery he’s encountered along the way.

Phil’s main interests away from work are catching up with his daughters, golf, cruising and travelling overseas.  He is currently keeping busy renovating his home and garden.

Noopy loves the ‘ever-changing nature’ of infrastructure advisory work. Every assignment is unique and presents new problems to be solved. He welcomes the opportunity to apply his skills to a diverse range of projects.

On most weekends, you’ll find Noopy honing his dispute resolution skills by mediating conflict between his two young sons. When he gets the chance, he enjoys surfing and playing golf.
