James is a Chartered Engineer who has over 15 years of experience in Australia and internationally. This experience covers line management with international contractors, project management with client organisations and advisory services with Evans & Peck and E3 Advisory.
Throughout these various roles, James has:
- Managed complex major infrastructure projects and construction sites in both metropolitan and regional areas throughout the project lifecycle;
- Successfully managed competing project deliverables to deliver consistent outcomes on time and within budget; and
- Managed critical internal and external relationships whilst maintaining the trust of key stakeholders.
These roles have exposed James to a comprehensive range of contracting models including Alliancing, EPCM, D&C, Cost Plus and Construct only which include notable projects such as the Kenya and Northern Water Treatment Plants, Banora Point Upgrade Alliance, Sunshine Motorway Duplication Project, Blackwater CHPP Project and the London 2012 Olympics.
James also has significant experience in cost estimation and cost planning in a variety of different applications. He has recently completed strategic cost planning for Railcorp as part of the Sydney Train network revaluation, and undertaken multiple CAPEX/OPEX estimates for State Authorities and Private Infrastructure Groups which recently includes the NSW Government for the proposed Western Sydney Airport (Badgerys Creek).
James has completed a Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) and is a Registered Professional Engineer Queensland (RPEQ).
