Jason is a professional engineer, manager and business leader with 30 years' experience in the planning, development, procurement and delivery of major infrastructure. Jason has a track record of developing and delivering highly successful projects in multi-disciplinary environments, achieving business growth, diversification and financial performance improvement. He was formerly a Managing Principal of infrastructure advisory firm Evans & Peck and a member of its executive team. Prior to that Jason had senior executive roles with international construction contractors.
Jason's background provides a rare combination of private sector infrastructure development and delivery with strategic, commercial and technical advisory services and senior client-side roles for complex public infrastructure projects, programs and asset portfolios. His experience spans transport, water, power, mining, gas, telecommunications and social infrastructure.
Jason has led and managed multi-dimensional integrated teams to deliver successful outcomes on government projects and programs, involving multiple consultancies and diverse stakeholder interests. He has also been a major contributor to landmark industry improvement initiatives including the publication, ‘In Pursuit of Additional Value: A benchmarking study into alliancing in the Australian Public Sector'. This was followed by key contributions to the new ‘best practice' guidelines for Collaborative Contracting and Traditional Contracting that have now been adopted by the Australian Government and State Governments around the country.
