Tristan has 12 years' experience planning and delivering infrastructure projects in the transport, power, water and mining sectors in Australia, UK and Colombia.
His work has covered various stages of the project lifecycle from feasibility studies and options analyses to procurement and project management of the design and construction phases.
Feasibility study experience includes a pit to port new mine facility in Colombia with CCX. This involved coordination of design development and associated cost estimates. Construction experience includes management of subcontractors and direct work forces on the Seacliff Bridge Alliance Project at Coalcliff and managing ground anchoring works on the Ross River Dam and Lake Manchester Dam.
Tristan also has extensive experience in forensic analysis and claim assessment for both quantum and time related claims.
As a participant and observer of both the front-end and back-end of projects, Tristan has a keen interest in the efficient management and controls of projects. This has allowed him to take responsibility for recommending and developing suitable systems and processes to facilitate the project delivery. He has provided advice on the establishment of project management offices for business transition with the Department of Planning & Infrastructure and for infrastructure planning studies with Infrastructure Australia.
When required to step into a role within a project, Tristan is known for his ability to quickly integrate, identify the gaps and get on with the job.
Tristan holds a Bachelor of Civil Engineering degree from the University of Wollongong.
